Behind The Scenes: A Celestial Editorial

Images by Magic Moments Photography.

One of my favourite things about photoshoots is the sheer volume of talent and creativity that comes together to create such incredible images. The brief for this shoot was simple: Celestial themed, dramatic romance with blush and gold tones. And I think our creative team pulled it off brilliantly. You can see the full gallery of our Celestial Shoot here – but I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to the people who put it all together with a little sneak peek behind the scenes.

Culloden House has some truly grand fireplaces, and we really wanted to highlight them as a part of the shoot. Courtney – The Highland Florist – created a romantic floral mantlepiece arrangement for the Morning Room, pulling through gorgeous blush pink and soft golden tones with a beautiful mix of roses and orchids. She also created a stunning split floral arch to compliment the dark marble and oak panelling of the Forbes Room.

For the wedding cake we wanted a style that would pull the whole theme together and Claire – owner of Lily Rose Cakes – created a gorgeous 4 tiered cake in blush and ivory with gold celestial accents.

Donna and Anna from Style My Day designed an elegant table setting with an array of candles, fairy lights and details that created a beautiful starlit effect.

With our fist model Aoife, in the Anniston dress (by Maggie Sottero), provided by Wedding Belles Alness we envisioned a celestial goddess in a shimmering gown and statement headpiece, so Jenna – Your Day Styling – created a slicked back look with Aoife’s hair, a lovely contrast to the soft updo she created with Kelsey, who had a softer, more romantic look in a gorgeous black Watson dress.

Following the theme of both of these looks Madeleine  – Madeliene Hewitt Make-up Artist – created a soft glam look for Kelsey and a bold lipped look for Aoife.

This is only HALF of the suppliers involved in this shoot so stay tuned for more behind the scenes looks!
