When putting together Issue 2 of Wed In The Highlands Magazine, I wanted to create inspiring shoots that reflected each of the seasons. My vision for autumn, was an intimate woodland elopement with hints of jewel tones and simple details.
Step into the woods and get lost in love.
Autumn is by far my favourite season, especially as the trees start to turn and when I think autumnal wedding I definitely see jewel tones and our outdoor picnic was the perfect setting for pulling bold colours together that would stand out against a forest setting.

One of the benefits of eloping is that you can use your own household items, which can be both practical and sustainable. Instead of buying new wedding items or renting expensive décor, couples who elope can incorporate items they already own, such as dishes, linens, and even furniture, into their ceremony and reception. This not only saves money but also reduces waste and promotes sustainability by minimizing the amount of resources and materials used for the event.
